We are delighted to announce that Carrie Fowler is this year’s Judy Allen Award winner which was announced and presented at 2023’s Celebration Night.

This prestigious award, named after one of Kilvington’s most amazing community contributors over the past 50 years, annually recognises a member of our community who has made an outstanding contribution to the School for more than five years. It is based on nominations received from our community.

About our 2023 award recipient…

Carrie Fowler is the quintessential quiet achiever. Always willing to lend a hand, with a ready smile and warm heart.

Carrie arrived at Kilvington in 2017 and immediately inserted herself wherever she could volunteer her time and be of assistance. She attended PFA meetings regularly and quickly earning the trust of the PFA Executive was awarded the role of PFA Senor School Vice President for two years.

Perhaps where Carrie has really made her mark is in driving and supporting the hospitality requirements of the many events that occur at Kilvington as Coordinator. The list is endless but include running the Devonshire Tea stall at three Fairs; leading our refreshment requirements at School productions; Mother’s and Father’s Day breakfasts, Sports Days and so on.

Carrie has done more than her fair share of cooking and baking for the Kilvington Cares program and has volunteered in the Canteen and Secondhand Uniform Shop. She has been described as a gem. Someone who you can always rely on; who will step into whatever role is required with no fuss and a lovely demeanor.

A worthy winner. Congratulations Carrie Fowler!
